If your PDF is too large, try lowering quality to 70-75% - for document scans and screenshots, the difference is barely visible. Photos from a modern phone camera (12-48 MP) embed at full resolution by default, which is overkill for screen viewing. The quality slider compresses them before embedding, which is where most of the size savings come from.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
